Legalwerks, Inc. develops Web-based software technology that allows law firms
to create and manage sophisticated Web sites at a fraction of the cost and time required using traditional
development tools and processes. The company's principal product is the legalConnect Web Suite, consisting of the legalConnect lawObjects Development Library, and the legalConnect Web Content Management System.
The company's principals have a combined 20 years experience developing online business and marketing solutions for law firms, and a combined 30 years experience developing application technology for such well-known companies as Boeing, McCaw Cellular Communications, AT&T Wireless, and Terabeam.
During the Internet boom in the mid-1990's, one of the company's principals worked with the Washington State Bar Association to create the first large-scale Continuing Legal Education programs in Washington on the use of the Internet by attorneys. legalConnect was developed and evolved based on the company's long experience creating Web sites for the legal community, and it incorporates some of the most innovative technology and thinking currently available in this specialized arena.
